    This is a great little place on Dorp street where you can grab a drink and have a smoke. The staff are impeccably friendly, helpful and enjoyable to engage with. Maxwell is as much a feature of the establishment as the establishment itself. The beers on tap are tasty, the whiskey, wine and brandy selections are fantastic. The cigar and cigarillo options are also extensive. Although it's great to have a Cuban, there is an African cigar called the Bongani that is as delicious as its South American counterparts. Definitely recommend spending some time here to unwind. The prices also ensure that its not crawling with students as their budgets can't typically handle a whole night out here.

  • Staff are very knowledgeable about cigars and can help you select one to fit your taste. Décor makes the space feel intimate and warm; lovely to sit outside and enjoy a stogie with friends over some good whiskey/coffee.

    Awesome cigar bar. So happy ran into it. Had a Romeo and Juliet’s cigar with a decent Brandy. Service very friendly polite. The French jazz music makes this place cozy. Definitely will be back.

    What a treat to have found a great bar called Blix. Named after the female explorer. It’s beautifully decorated, in a small place that feels very intimate and chic. Great drinks, service and small dishes to satisfy the taste buds. Don’t miss this spot if you are popping in for a drink or staying for a light dinner.
