The name “Blix” is inspired by the memoir turned film, Out of Africa, written by Karen Blixen. Karen came to Africa in 1913 and lived on a coffee plantation in Kenya (then known as British East Africa) for seventeen years. She describes her love and appreciation of Africa as her home in the classic words,
