Blix Inn Guest House Terms & Conditions

All bookings made with Blix Inn Guest House are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Application

All quotations, estimates, bookings, and services provided by or on behalf of Blix Inn Guest House (referred to as ‘the Establishment’) are subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

  1. The Client and Authority

By requesting quotations, making bookings, or receiving services, the client agrees to accept and abide by these terms and conditions. By clicking the “Book Now” button on this website, the client signifies their acceptance of these terms and confirms their authority to act on behalf of all individuals included in the booking.

  1. Third Party Service Providers

Blix Inn Guest House may provide accommodation and travel services directly or act as agents for principals in the travel industry. The Establishment accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from the acts or omissions of such principals.

  1. Payment and Payment Terms

4.1. All invoices are due and payable upon presentation unless stated otherwise.
4.2. Payments by credit or debit card incur no additional charges.
4.3. Bank transfer payments must be free of banking or transaction fees.
4.4. Blix Inn Guest House reserves the right to cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond its control.
4.5. Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking, subject to certain conditions.

  1. Cancellation Policy

5.1. Once a reservation is confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies immediately.
5.2. Amendments to reservations are treated as cancellations.
5.3. Cancellation fees vary depending on the type of reservation:

Standard cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation 15 days or more prior to arrival incurs no fee.
  • Cancellation 8 to 14 days prior incurs a 50% fee.
  • Cancellation within 7 days or same-day arrival incurs a 100% fee.
  • Special rates and strict cancellation policy terms may apply.

5.4. All cancellations or amendments must be made in writing or through the online system.
5.5. No verbal cancellations will be accepted.
5.6. Cancellations are confirmed upon receipt of a return email from Blix Inn Guest House.
5.7. No-shows result in a full charge for the entire booking period.

  1. Group Reservations

6.1. Group bookings require a 50% deposit at least 21 days before arrival.
6.2. Cancellation fees apply based on the timing of the cancellation.
6.3. Full payment is required if booking within 30 days of arrival.

  1. Booking, Deposit & Reservation – General

7.1. The Establishment requires payment in full before arrival.
7.2. Unpaid amounts may result in the suspension of obligations by Blix Inn Guest House.
7.3. The Customer must not assign or cede the booking without written consent.
7.4. Original order/voucher is required for third-party bookings.
7.5. Non-refundable rates are charged at the time of booking.

  1. Individual Reservations

8.1. Individual bookings must be guaranteed within 48 hours of reservation.
8.2. Full payment is required on check-in.
8.3. Vouchers must be presented at check-in for third-party bookings.

  1. Requirements for Checking In

Guests must provide proof of identification upon check-in as per legal requirements.

  1. Special Requests

While Blix Inn Guest House will endeavour to accommodate special requests, it does not guarantee fulfilment.

  1. Swimming Pool

Guests must adhere to safety and usage regulations posted in the pool area.

  1. Impaired Mobility

Guests with impaired mobility should contact Blix Inn Guest House in advance to ensure their needs can be accommodated.

  1. Child Policy

Children aged 13 or older may stay at the discretion of Blix Inn Guest House. Children under 13 can only be accommodated upon request.

  1. Insurance

Guests are advised to take out adequate insurance cover for cancellations and personal accidents.

  1. Responsibility

Guests enter and use Blix Inn Guest House premises at their own risk. The Establishment is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury.

  1. Non-Smoking Establishment

Blix Inn Guest House is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking is not permitted indoors or in public areas.

  1. Pets

Pets are not accommodated at Blix Inn Guest House.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The Establishment’s liability is limited, and claims must be lodged in writing within 30 days.

  1. General

Various provisions apply to legal notices, changes in terms, and other matters.

  1. WIFI Terms & Conditions

Guests are provided with free Wi-Fi under specific conditions outlined by Blix Inn Guest House.

  1. Legal Fees

Clients are liable for legal fees incurred by Blix Inn Guest House in enforcing its rights.

Client information is treated confidentially by Blix Inn Guest House.

  1. Variation

Blix Inn Guest House may change terms and conditions at its discretion without notice.

  1. Entire Contract

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
